Kristina Maria Manalo is an Internet consultant based in London, and a writer on economic themes relating to financial and non-financial capital. She is currently working on the infrastructure and security of an advanced data centre used for forensics technology and fraud investigation and dispute services, and author of A Human Perspective of Economics blog for the Economics Research Council.
Kristina has more than 15 years experience in business analysis and project management of global Internet infrastructure, software and services projects, and has earned numerous technical accreditations in both fixed and wireless network infrastructure and security.
She earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomolecular Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1991), and read Biochemistry and English literature during her junior year abroad at Warwick University in Coventry, England. Kristina's scientific background has laid the foundations for an analytical and methodical approach to business and technology; it has augmented her capability to understand things which cannot be seen; it has nurtured a rigourous approach to learning.
Kristina completed her MBA from the University of Oxford in 2009 as Class Representative of the EMBA V cohort, focussing on Finance and Economics. She is now Regional Ambassador for Oxford Business Alumni in London, with extended participation in the European societies on the Continent.
A citizen of both Britain and the United States, Kristina's heritage is firmly rooted in the Philippines.
