Doughty Street
Otherwise known as Dickens Row - famous for these Georgian mansions which were serviced by the Mews, where the horses and carriages were kept. Charles Dickens lived at 48 Doughty Street, across the road from my Vespa.

My fireplace
Open fires are no longer allowed in Central London; in my case it works as a 'cellar' and home for the Koln Cathedral.
-
My tromp d'oeil
Tromp d'oeil of my landlady's conservatory at Ringstead House in Ashwell, Buckinghamshire.
-
Lincoln Inn Fields
The largest square in London, and home to one of the four Inns of Court in London. The other three are Gray's Inn, Inner Temple and Middle Temple... there is no shortage of solicitors or barristers in my neighbourhood.
-
My Square
My Square, as Hadgey calls it. It is one of London's locked, private gardens (yes, like the movie Notting Hill). Great for picnics with Dean and Peter (although far too few people for Peter's liking).
-
Mecklenburgh Square, East
Facing east on Mecklenburgh Square. On the other side of the buildings is Grays Inn Road, leading to King's Cross to the north and Chancery Lane to the south.
-
Mecklenburgh Square, north
On the north side of Mecklenburgh Square is a residence hall for UCL students.

Bloomsbury kitchen.jpg
Yes I'll one day miss the open-plan kitchen and being able to chat with guests whilst cooking for them.
On the computer screen, there's a picture of Isabel and Jeff...
